Didn't have time to dedicate my day to photographing, but I brought the camera while I was walking the dog. All of a sudden, this pheasant flew out of the grass and I was lucky enough to get this photo. Not a perfect photo, but it's the situation that I like.

Went out to find signs of spring. Found this crocus growing in our neighbours garden and zoomed in on it. Increased the contrast to get more dramatic colors.

Got a fun idea today. The idea was to make a big "Ahlgrens bil" candy car drive on a real street. So I took some photos of the candy and some real locations. When I got home I started playing with the photos, mixing and matching. Now the result isn't very good, at least not in my opinion, but remember that this blog is a project to help me devolop my skills!

Went to Dalby quarry with the photoclub today. Got some very nice pictures, but this one was the coolest in my opinion. This is an ant thats probably just woken up, ready to bite!

My parents bought these new plants today. They were very colorful so I thought I'd use them for todays photo. I used my macro setup and a flash to get this mysterious but colorful photo.

Washed my car today. When I was done, this little bug started sunbathing on the hood. Ran in to get the camera and took a photo of it!

Took a walk with our dog in the neighbourhood. Found this pacifier/dummy hanging in a bush and instantly got the idea to make this photo.

Took a walk down the marina/harbour today to see if there was anything nice to capture. Found these worn flags on a fishing boat and they turned out to go great with an overexposed background!

Took a walk along the beach today since it was pretty good weather. Got a lot of nice nature photos, but this one was the best!

Got inspired to take this photo from the new mini-series from HBO called "The Pacific". The series has just started, but it's from the makers of "Band of Brothers" so it's very good! Anyways, we have an older, and worn globe at home that i took a photo of. I took the photo in the Guadalcalan area of the globe where a lot of "The Pacific" takes place.

We have some willow branches in a vase at home. It is somewhat of a swedish easter tradition. These catkins were kind of special since they have a red core. I found this very interesting and took a photo of it.

Rainy day. Thought I'd go out and try to find something good in the bad weather. Found this "bird-food net" with waterdrops and "macro:ed" it.

It was cloudy and foggy today so I thought it would be a great day for black and white photography. Took a walk around the neighbourhood and took some nice photos. This wheelbarrow was my best photo of the day.

My dad has a N-scale model railroad. So today I decided to take a look if I could get any nice macro-photos of the details. Found this guy who obviously had too much to drink and passed out in the doghouse!

For today's photo I thought I'd take a close-up photo of details on my electric guitar. Wanted to get as many details in as possible and thought this one was the most detailed with the least amount of unwanted background details. It's a little dark, but then again it is a black guitar.

I watched "Jennifer's Body" this morning and got the idea for this photo. There's a lot of blood in the movie and a couple of stabbing scenes. The photo is manipulated (contrast and clarity is way high and i changed the color curves to make it darker).

Wanted to post a macro photo for today's photo, so I walked around the house looking for something small to capture. I found a few things, and when I was about to choose which one I'd post, I fell for this one. It's a photo of some kind of thin, decorative, plastic grass. The photo is a little manipulated, but only to make it more mysterious, so the original looks pretty much the same!

I've had an idea for a while now, to build a small studio at home, but haven't gotten to it yet. So today I made a very small studio to test a little product photography. All I did was to lay a piece of A4 paper against the wall and take a photo with my flash. Not the greatest results, but works since the process was very simple!

This photo was taken while taking a walk on the beach. I heard a bird in a tree and went to see what kind it was. Turned out it was this guy, a treecreeper (Certhia familiaris). This is the second photo of a wild bird I've posted, but that doesn't mean I am a nature photographer. At the moment, I am actually an all-round photographer, and these two birds just happened to be the first photos I've posted.

This is my first post of this blog where I will post a photo that I've taken every day! The photo is to be taken on the same day of the post, which means I will have to take new photos every day.

This first photo is taken about 2km from my home. It is of a woodpecker (Dendrocopos major).
